  5. Send a small test amount first.

  6. Wait for confirmations.

  7. Confirm funds received in wallet.

Critical checks:

  1. Wrong network withdrawal can permanently lose funds.

  2. USDT and USDC contracts are network-specific.

B) Method B: Bridge from another chain

  1. Use a trusted bridge only.

  2. Connect source wallet and destination wallet.

  3. Select token and amount.

  4. Destination chain must be Polygon.

  5. Approve bridge transaction and wait for completion.

  6. Verify funds arrived on Polygon.

Bridge risk warning:

  1. Bridges introduce smart contract and route risk.

  2. Always test with a small amount first.

C) Keep POL gas reserve

  1. Keep at least 10 POL as gas buffer.

  2. Even when paying with USDT/USDC, you still need POL for transaction fees.

  3. If gasless mode is ever enabled by project settings, still keep POL as fallback.

8) Buy EOSIF in the dApp

Follow this sequence exactly.

1

Step 1: Open official sale page

  1. Use only official EOSI Finance link: https://ico.eosifinance.org.

2

Step 2: Accept Terms and pass eligibility gate

  1. Read Terms modal.

  2. Click AGREE.

  3. App performs location eligibility check.

  4. If blocked, purchase cannot proceed.

Expected result:

  1. Modal closes and main buy page is accessible.

3

Step 3: Optional referral code application

  1. In Referral Access, enter code (10 characters).

  2. Wait for on-chain validation.

  3. Click Apply Referral Code once valid.

Expected status messages:

  3. Confirm approval.

  4. After approval confirms, wallet shows purchase contribution transaction.

  5. Confirm contribution.

  6. Wait for completion.

Expected wallet prompt:

  1. Approval transaction (may occur only first time or when allowance is low).

  2. Contribution transaction.

Important behavior:

  1. Approval and purchase are separate operations.

  2. If approval succeeds but contribution fails, you usually do not need to approve again immediately.

7

Step 7: Confirm successful purchase

  1. App should show purchase success feedback.

  2. Save transaction hash from wallet for your records.

  3. Verify on Polygonscan (see Appendix).

9) Import EOSIF Token to Wallet

After buying, add EOSIF as a custom token so it appears in wallet UI.

Critical address note

Use this placeholder until official EOSIF token contract is confirmed:

  1. EOSIF token address (Polygon): 0xREPLACE_WITH_OFFICIAL_EOSIF_TOKEN_ADDRESS

The string below is not a valid EVM contract address and will fail import in EVM wallets:

  1. 0xREPLACE_WITH_OFFICIAL_EOSIF_TOKEN_ADDRESS

Reason:

  1. EVM token contracts must be 42 characters total and hex-formatted as 0x + 40 hex characters.

A) Phantom token import (desktop/mobile)

  1. Open token management.

  2. Choose add/import custom token.

  3. Select network: Polygon.

  4. Paste EOSIF token contract address.

  5. If symbol/decimals autofill, verify and confirm.

  6. If not autofilled, enter verified symbol/decimals manually from official source.

  7. Save token.

B) Uniswap Wallet token import (desktop/mobile)

  1. Open token list.

  2. Select import token/custom token.

  3. Ensure network is Polygon.

  4. Paste EOSIF token contract address.

  5. Review token metadata.

  6. Confirm import.

C) Trust Wallet token import (mobile/extension)

  1. Open token list and tap add token.

  2. Choose custom token.

  3. Set network to Polygon.

  4. Paste EOSIF token contract address.

  5. Enter symbol and decimals if required.

  6. Save and enable display.

If symbol/decimals are unknown

  1. Check official EOSI token publication.

  2. Verify on Polygonscan token contract page.

  3. Confirm symbol() and decimals() from verified contract data.

  4. Do not guess token metadata.

10) Common Errors and Fixes

1) Wrong network

Symptoms:

  1. Buy button fails or wallet rejects.

  2. App asks to switch network repeatedly.

Fix:

  1. Switch wallet to Polygon Mainnet (chain ID 137).

  2. Reconnect wallet to dApp.

2) Insufficient balance

Symptoms:

  1. Error says not enough POL/USDT/USDC.

  2. Purchase cannot submit.

Fix:

  1. Fund wallet with selected payment asset.

  2. Keep extra POL for gas (10 POL minimum recommended buffer).

3) Approval issues (USDT/USDC)

Symptoms:

  1. Approval fails.

  2. Purchase says allowance too low.

Fix:

  1. Retry approval and ensure you confirm in wallet.

  2. Wait for approval confirmation before purchase retry.

  3. Verify correct token and network.

4) User rejected transaction

Symptoms:

  1. Wallet popup closed or declined.

Fix:

  1. Start buy flow again.

  2. Confirm transaction in wallet when prompted.

5) RPC/network instability

Symptoms:

  1. Timeout, failed fetch, 429/503 style errors.

Fix:

  1. Wait and retry.

  2. Switch RPC in wallet to a trusted endpoint if needed.

  3. Keep wallet and browser/app updated.

6) Wallet extension conflicts

Symptoms:

  1. Random connection failures.

  2. Wrong extension intercepts requests.

Fix:

  1. Disable extra wallet extensions temporarily.

  2. Use a clean browser profile with only one active wallet extension.

  3. Reopen dApp and reconnect.

11) Final Safety Checklist Before Confirming

Review all items before signing any wallet request:

  1. I am on official EOSI Finance sale URL.

  2. My wallet network is Polygon.

  3. I selected the intended payment token.

  4. Deposit amount is correct.

  5. I kept enough POL for gas.
